Keep S5 systems running as long as it makes sense
An S5 plant does not need modernization simply because a maintenance partner no longer supports it. We still program and support Siemens S5 today.
Active S5 service
We support systems such as S5-95U, S5-100U, S5-115U, S5-135U and S5-155U, including typical installed CPUs such as the 928. This includes diagnostics, code changes, recovery after hardware replacement and inclusion in maintenance contracts.
Migration without artificial pressure
A migration to S7 is not mandatory, but often sensible. Original S5 spare parts are hardly available from the manufacturer anymore, procurement runs through the grey market and is therefore expensive.
We discuss the right migration timing with you without pressure. Especially on existing VRU units, a planned transition is usually more valuable than a rushed replacement during a fault.
